You should agree to sell your car for less than market value to get him to show up. After he shows up, use your imagination.

he is not telling the full story by any means. i agreed to buy his car upon our meeting and inspection but was in the process of moving to cali. i ran into a huge family problem and was not able to make it to ny to meet up with him. i am not just some kid messing with him at all. i sent him multiple e-mail's definitely before he told me he was leaving town also thinking he would be able to check them while he was away letting him know i wasnt able to make it and how incredibly sorry i am. also he told me he was going to be in ny anyways because he had business down here so it was a good time to meet up with him since he would be here locally. i did not call him as he said e-mail was the way our entire conversation about the car went we never once spoke on the phone and that was how i continued it. i apologized many times for the inconvienience* i caused. there is no way i can go about it from there i have told him many times how sorry i am. all of you can think what you want about this i know i should have called and not assumed he would receive my e-mails but with everything i was dealing with i never thought about it. so once again, highmileage, Tim, I am sorry AGAIN for the problems I caused and to all of you on the forums think what you want about this but there are a few more details so you have more of the story.

Wow is that BS. He had my cell from day one of this whole sorry screwjob, never once did I get ANY call to say there was a problem. This was AFTER he told me that the car was sold and arranged to meet and transfer. He was to call and set up the exact time. The day had been set. Lessons learned:
1) Do NOTHING without a deposit.
2) NEVER deal with someone who won't trust you with their phone number.
3) Do NOT turn away any offers until cash is in hand. I madethat mistake also.

Oh yeah, I described in full deatail the gyrations I was going to have to go through to get the car there and have one to drive back. Bottom line, this kid does not belong on this forum.

sorry you got screwed but personally I would never meet up with someone unless I talk to them on the phone first and also would call to confirm the appointment before driving anywhere.

well this will be my last post on the topic i am once again sorry for the problem I even offered to comp some of the cost from the ads b/c of my mistake in not calling. you had told me you were going to be in NY for business in my area anyways. but regardless i have already admitted to being wrong in not calling i thought my e-mail's would suffice but obviously they didnt and it is a lesson to learn. i wish i could have gone through with this all i could not make it to ny however. and as far as me not giving you my phone number, you never once asked for it and i never thought to give it to you. i was going to crazy with everything on my end and trying to find a car to buy.

ill just end it with this, Tim I'm sorry again for the trouble i caused you and have admitted to making a mistake many times. if you continue to hate me and talk bad about me for this then there is nothing i can do i apologize. as for the forums, if the other members think that because of this one transaction going wrong i do not belong on these forums, then i will not return and withdrawl my membership in respect for the forums.

thanks for your time, deven

liveiiroll doesn't sound like a bad dude IMO, atleast he had the integrity to come here and explain his side and publicly appologize.

I agree. I've seen a lot bad mouthing in forums. It usually is a result of saving face in front of others. liveiiroll admitted he was wrong, not only to the one he caused harm, but to the entire forum. Communication is alwasys the problem

Liveiiroll is a kid, living with his parents, having fun at this forum, at my expense. I am done with him and this topic. I am just warning anyone not to deal with him. Lesson learned on my part.

highmilage needs to settle down a bit I think.... liveiiroll atleast came on here twice and appoligized to not only you, but the entire forum (plus emals to highmilage). Obviously he knows he made a mistake, and he is trying to let everyone know that he is sorry. Give him a break, and move on with life.
