actualy not totaly true, it costs any where from $900 to $2k to ship to europe, prise varies if deliverd at door or at port and stuff like that.

plus a gsr evo 2003 costs 32k euros in germany witch rufly is $42k and same taxes and crap apply after that, so it is cheaper to buy from the states.

Don't get me wrong there are more scams out there than true buyers.

Probably because of the favourable exchange rate. A basic USDM Evo VIII costs about half the price of the equivalent Evo (FQ300) in the UK.......

lol tell them u'll sell it to them...see if they say "well ship the car over so I can see it and make sure its in good condition then I"ll send the money" aka scam..its not a "scam" if they send money first and the check/money order goes through lol but it is if they want the car first. This sounds like the reverse UK scam whereas usually they are selling a car and want money first lol.

^ After you take it apart and put it in your HHG shipment. I know a few people that have done some things like that.

First, its probably a scam.... But if it wasnt, its because the Euro and Pound are strong against the dollar so they would actually be saving money buying a USDM car and shipping it (It costs roughly $2k to ship a car) There are import fees and tarriffs in the UK also, but its alot easier to import a car into europe from the USA than vice versa...

Also, not everyone considers the missing features such as AYC and ACD to be a disadvantage, many don't even care or miss them, and I guarantee on a street driven vehicle, most of us wouldn't notice any difference anyway.
