You might be able to deduct some of the $1000 you pay out of pocket as a casualty loss on your tax return. Do you itemize?

Sorry to hear your loss.

When you get another evo, I'd "accidently" run out of gas again, "accidently" leave the car sitting in the same spot, and "accidently" sit hidden in the darkness.....and see if anybody "accidently" falls for the bait.

Man, we should all take this as a lesson to never, ever run out of gas in the middle of nowhere in our evos. Our cars attract too much attention...

Sorry to hear about that. There is nothing worse than having your car violated like that.

i saw a ponitac on the side of the road yesterday that was missing the wheels. funnything is the nigh tbefore it had these big stupid 22 inch wheels on it. then yesterday it was sitting down on the brakes and frame. I laughed. that would suck to be that person but it was funny. I would KILL someone if that happened to me.

Thats friggin brutal. There is no lower form of life than someone who can intentionally destroy something or steal from someone else.

What mindset does someone need to have where they see some car stranded, stop, and then decide that they're going to destroy it? I mean, it's not like these people came to your house to 'get you', it was jus a random pulled over vehicle..
...duh...hey....let's break dis here car". Ughh, this pisses me off, I can't imagine how you feel. Sorry man.
