Nice numbers. You should post SAE plots though since they are the standard.

Hah, you noticed again. Why do people keep posting STD plots?

If the guys at Tuning Tehnologies could post the SAE plots for those out there that prefer those numbers ... The 91 numbers were like 324 whp and 320 tq. I have tried numerous setups and this is the best thus far. After seeing Joe from Vegas run his car at Fontana and finding out he only had the SAFC tuned by Tuning Technologies, well that just got me thinking. I had a 100 octain Flash at the time and was not to content, always trouble shooting something. I decided to go to something which had more of a real world application for myself , 2 maps, 91 for daily commuting, and 110 for ***** to the wall fun and excitement. Thanks to Alfred and Chris this was accomplished. Again this worked for me. I still have room to get crazier down the line with a different setup like the Xede or the AEM. For now I am done spending the $$ and want to enjoy, oh minus a new clutch that I urgently need as I spun it last night enjoying the new found power, guess you were right about that clutch needing to be changed Alfred....

You and your clutch are now part of the up in smoke evo tour. Which clutch is it gonna be Julio?

Ill post the sae numbers...it was only 6hp less........still well over 400trq.....we do that because we have always posted in STD, we continue to do so because we dont want people who have dynod with us to be alienated over something silly like that. Its for comparisons sake........nothing more nothing less.

That's fine among your customers, but on a global forum it doesn't work, because SAE is the standard...

actually it depends on who you talk to. sport compact car uses the standard correction factor but i guess they don't know what they are talking about. the correction factors were built for naturally aspirated cars. they don't work well for awd turbo cars. if you plug in the weight of a car into a horsepower calculator the standard correction factor is much closer than sae. but i probably don't know what i'm talking about, because i actually did my own research instead of living vicariously through the internet. if it makes you feel any better the sae numbers are 377whp 412 torue. see attached graph.

I don't understand the defensiveness here. I'm not concerned about SCC or what research you did. I'm only talking about the STANDARD that we all use for comparison HERE in the real world. I don't care which one is better or more factual or prettier or nicer or whatever...it just doesn't help anyone compare if the same correction factors are not used. Remember, it's all about relative comparison with as many factors kept equal as possible. This is one factor you can keep the same, which is why we asked.

i understand the need for a common language, but defending something without doing any research to see if it equates to the real world seems foolish.

I didn't defend anything. I just asked for the standard correction factors to be used so that the numbers could be used for comparison. If you really cared about "real world" numbers, you'd have a Mustang Dyno, so off the soapbox with ye...

Will you be driving around on 110 daily? Probably not. I'd like to see a street tune on 93, never-the-less, nice numbers.

Unfortunately, he only gets to use 91 on a daily basis. He said those numbers were 324/320, which is pretty impressive to me, since it's very hard to keep the torque up on pump gas when only tuning with an S-AFC. This was probably achieved due to running larger injectors, which requires fuel removal on the S-AFC, thus providing more timing at peak torque.

it looks like it might be the 110 octane then, since most people make those 91 octane numbers.

That does seem appealing though, i just might need to have chris and alfred make me a 110 map
