These alpines have an adapter so I'm not too worried about fitment.
twinevo, do you happen to know the metra part #?

hey webguy your talking about the speakers that go in the door right? first off you have alpines that are prolly 6.5 inch. the mitsu speakers in the doors have are 6.75 which is already not good. but what im thinking is that you dont have the adaptor to connect to the speaker. im taking it your going to run the speaker off your head unit right? you might actually need to buy some speaker cable and some female adaptors..and splice the wires. i didnt use the factory wire connection cause im running my speakers off an amp...so splicing might be the way to go if you can't find an adaptor. if you take some pix ill be happy to show you what needs to be done.

I am running these off the stock HU for now, piecing together my ultimate goal of aftermarket HU + stock tweets + alpines + amp/10" sub.
hey man if you really want my personal opinion. i get a headunit before you install the speakers...it'll make a world of difference. i put in my h/u before i got my sub/speakers/amps and with just a h/u change the stock speaker sounded 10x better. im telling you splice it man!

right now my setup really REALLY freaking thumps lol..although im going to take out my sub and custom some jl 6" subs for the rears. the 12" i got right now weighs too much and take up WAY to much space. but trust me..speakers, tweets, and h/u makes allt he difference. good luck with your stuff. have fun running that battery line from the amp to the battery when you get your sub lol.. you'll need a drill..taht's fo sho. good luck though.

I have a box that I built for the sub, just piecing things together now...
Gotta find a cross-point between sounds and power mods.
