well i just got back from the delaer got all my paper work done
didn't get the 0 percent sigh......
well here is my question that i hold out a bit
they listed the car as 30,795 pluse tag tax and some other stuff

but when it comes to the actul sale the guy said the car price is 32,950 and then they have to tax the car at 32 then plus tag tax and 595 shipping and 250 proc fee at the end they'll give me the 1000 rebate and 500 mitsu loyal rebate

aren't they suppose to give me the sale from 30,795 not @32?

They're right. You tax the selling price then subtract the rebate. The $595 for shipping should be included in the 32 selling price, though. Not added to.

well they listed the price for 30,795 i wonder why they have to sale it for 32

so the 595 should be in the 32k tag not added again?

i dont see how that come to the 30,795

yea, that's right. Start at that price, plus tax and license, then subtract the rebates. They weazled the $595 in there that should have already be included, but it still seems like you gotta good price, so hoody hoo.

yea, go for it dude. Well, since you haven't signed for it yet... tell them the $595 should be taken out because every other dealer told you it should already be included. Save yourself a couple bucks.

the net sale price is 30 after rebate, that's normal... it's advertising to get you to call or come in. All dealerships do that. They tell you the net sale price after all the rebates so it looks good.

Don't accept any extra fees like "processing", "advertising", etc.
I always get rid of those, although I live in FL, and here could be easier...
Good luck!

Why would you care if the salesman told you if it was a good deal...you should think its a good deal, not him. You're the one buying the car, not him.

You should really try to get rid of the shipping and handling fees. You haven't signed the contract yet either so theres still time to talk to him again.

You got to be ready to walk out of the dealer...!
Most sales personnel wouldn't like to loose a sell after investing so much time in you, when they know they could've sold other vehicles to other buyers, so they're usually willing to trade some or all fees to get you to sign that contract. Like I said, you got to show you'll walk out if they keep throwing BS fees at you. It is a good deal if you're really conviced it is for you, otherwise it's just a good sell...
Good luck again!
