Ok I bought a Proscan OBD-2 Package that came with an OBD2 cable, ISO interface, and some software. The program was too damn buggy so I decided to try some free Palm datalogging. I bought a Palm m125 and a serial hotsync cable and plugged in the obd2 cable -> serial hotsync -> palm m125. But it doesnt seem to work....
Is the pocketlogger obd2 cable different than other obd2 cables and is there something I am missing?

Explain the "Proscan OBD-2 Package was too buggy" bit... did it work, but just not what you were expecting? I just bought one off eBay. Wondering if it'll work at all. Says its got a dynometer (HP/Trq), Performance counters (0-60 etc) and clear / read check engine codes etc.
