I just came home to find my October issue of Grassroots Motorsports sitting on the table. To my surprsise there were 3 Evo's on the cover and a great 12 page article inside. There was a history of the Evo and a comparison between 1 stock Evo on two progressively modified Evo's. Very good reading. For those of you not familiar with Grassroots Motorsports this should be your introduction copy. Happy reading.

 

Haven't picked up the copy yet, but my EVO is the mildly modded one. It was fun to see Per drive the hell out of them. Just put cams, cam gears, headstuds and a fuel pump in. Love that magazine.

I have never actually met Tim, but have auto-x with him on a couple different occasions. Have met David, very nice guy. Raced with Per, David and Scott two Sundays ago. Per took top pax with a HS Mini Cooper. They're all real cool. They answer alot of questions at the events, so I try to give'm some space. Saw Tim auto-x a VW dune buggy and woop some *** with it. It was funny as hell.

 

where do you buy a Grassroots Motorsports magazine?

 

It comes with your SCCA membership. Best car magazine out there for real info on getting involved with racing as opposed to JDM prickwaving like SCC, Turbo magazine, Ricearoni, etc.
