Question allignment problems - lowered on hotchkis springs

I've had the hotchkis springs on my car for about a week. Just got an allignment and everything is in spec except for the rear driver side corner... camber goes in spec, it's just that toe won't get any better than -.24.. has anyone else had any allignment issues with their cars lowered?

What dealership did you take it to? IF you took it to Hall, they don't do good alignments, they let my car leave out of spec and said it wouldn't get any better, but a week later I took it to Charles Barker Lexus (my wife works there) and they had no problems aligning it.... But that was also not lowered

I lowered my car with the Hotchkis and got a hotrod shop to do the alignment. I went with 0 toe all-around and -1.5 front camber and -1 rear camber . The guy that did the alignment said it went easy and he even liked how it looked after. They usually don't align cars that were already lowered, but I talked to the manager beforehand and even got a good deal. You might want to think about taking it to a better alignment shop and not a dealership.

ok, so your car is lowered and you were able to get everything within spec... maybe the lowered ride height threw off the allignment machine...?

ask around your local area....you'll be able to find a good alignment shop, even if the cars dropped...you might not be able to bring it back to spec's without a camber kit, but it'll be close if you find the right person to do the job....

They had the alignment exactly how I wanted it. No camber kit required for mine.

are you asking for an aggressive setting for yours? Mine did well on the track and have driven on it for at least 5000 miles without any problems. Stock tires still look great without any major wear spots.

The dealership I go to for service had no problem aligning my car after I installed Hotchkis springs. I stood next to the car and watched (the guy doing work is a friend of mine) and he was easily able to make all the necessary adjustments. Front Camber is set at -1.5^, Rear Camber -1^, 0 toe all around. I'd take your car somewhere else if they can't get it right.

after looking over my specs... before the allignment the toe was in spec and the camber wasn't.. so i know its possible to get the toe in spec.. maybe there needs to be a happy medium between camber and toe?
