just called and said that i do have to get the service done for that recall. but the thing is that they want me to wait untill mon/tues of next week but what i wanted to know is if i should pop on my new forge rs bov or should i wait untill i get the service done it first to make sure that they dont black list me or anything?

Hmm... I just called and gave them the last 8 digits of my VIN number and they told me there were "no open recalls". Is this recall only for GSRs? Any other MR members taken their car in for recall?

 

IT's for ALL 2005s!!!
I had mine done this morning, I got a loaner as well from Gillman Mitsu of Houston, pretty quick. . . .I'd WAIT to put the forge RS BOV in, since if you don't usually get your car serviced there, there's no need to unecessarily risk getting blacklisted. . .it only took 4 hours to do (the coolant hose replacement). . .

 

i called my dealership and they say there is no recall!!! is there anything i can do?

 

i did my recall about 2months ago before this recall pop out.

It's for all 2005's.
Only 1179 potential hoses affected, but get it done as precaution anyways.
