how do you turn off the seat belt bell?

it's ungodly annoying...I haven't put up with it long enough to see if it ever stops, but for auto-x & track days I'll be wearing harnesses...and there's no way I could deal with the warning bell...

What my dad does when he AutoX's is he straps the regular seatbelt in, then sits ontop of it and straps himself in with the harnesses... Seems to work well, don't know if he does it to prevent then from flopping around or if he does it for the seatbelt light. Good luck. AutoXing looks like soo much fun. Can't wait, few more months n I'll be 18.

Unplug the connector under the seat that goes to the seat belt receptacle. When you plug in the seat belt, it creates an open circuit, which is the same thing that happens if you unplug the connector.

I put in a racing shell and just cut the harness for expedience, and the seat belt light never comes on and it never chimes. Unplugging would be smarter though.
