The way it works on a SSL is the stock HU speak wires go directly to the amp under the seat which powers all speakers including the sub, problem is, I dont have that damn wire harness in my car and I'm not sure if its something I can just add or not..Anyone care to chime in please?!?

The head unit outputs for the sub are hard wired with the rest of the stereo harness. It then routes to the amplifier. From there it is again hard wired into the harness, to their respective locations. The sub wires are yellow, and white with a blue stripe.
