Yea my friend who owns a sti and I both got a ticket for speeding, and making an unsafe left turn . The Cop said that we were racing and that if he wanted to he could take use to jail and take our cars!!! The truth is that we were going to go to Dinnes to get something to eat. We were running about 10 miles over the speed limit and my friend was behind me all the time. Mind you it was 3 in the morning and there was no other cars to be seen. The cop told me that he was following us for about three blocks, yea right . So your telling me that you let two cars race for about a mile and a half with out even trying to stop us. what kind of cop are you . I was the one who decided to pull over because I could tell that a cop suddenly pulled up behind use turns off his headlight then starts to follow use!!!!!!!




P.S. We are going to fight the ticket. If its three in the morning and your are the only cars around dont street race, you will get got.

thats not to bad. is there any non point tickets (like Unsafe Driving) that you could possibly get it dropped to in cali. In NJ i got a 4 point ticket and was able to pay 480$ but get no points.

Did he light you up when pulling you over? I don't know about the cruisers out there, but in our county the 45 seconds prior to the the lights being turned on is recorded. Perhaps that video could help.

 

if theres no video and no radar, theres no case. i'd almost gaurentee he put his lights on...

 

he turned his headlights off? are you kiddding? that's unsafe as fawk, what if a car full of people had pulled out in front of him because they couldn't see him with no headlights on?

That stinks. I just got pinched in Pasadena, 50 in a 35. The thing is the sign for the different zones alternate in that area from 35 to 45. I was a block away from the 45. The cop wasn't a jerk about it, but I think he really had a hard-on about my EVO. He used the laser. California police departments are profiling are cars. I never got a ticket in my Cobra. What do you get for 15 over in 35?

It was Garden Grove PD, and it seems that they have nothing else do to but to give traffic tickest. I have heard that Anaheim and Westminster PD hate them!! ahah
