650 miles...First autocross
Took the now "broken in" stock evo with ~650 miles to the local autocross event today. This is my first AWD car, I have to say that I am falling more and more in love with it..
I was racing SCCA Novice A Stock today and it began to rain on the second heat. After one feeler run in th wet, I posted my personal FTD on the wet course. The car behaved amazing..I love it. Set the ACD to gravel an it was just flat out great.
My friend finished 1st in the today with his 900 mile evo that he bought the same day as me. We posted the two fastest times of the day in the Novice Stock class..Good stuff.

Here's a little tip on driving an Evo in the wet during an autocross (with full depth tires, of course);
Drive just like you would in the dry; accelerate and brake just as hard, corner as hard, trust the car. You'll be amazed at what it can do it the dry AND in the wet. You'll find yourself moving up the raw time board any time it's damp out. I know; we've had three events this year in downpours.
