Help< What Car!!!!!
Hello everyone,
I am new to the site and this is my first post. I want some honest opinions here. I have been waiting for the EVO to arrive at my local dealership and he called today to let me know that it will be in tomorrow. It is blue with the carbon fiber wing and has a sunroof. I can by it for 30,812. I am also on the waiting list for a WRX STI, I am number 7 on that list meaning quite a wait Im sure. The other car I am considering is a Mini cooper S works version. I know the mini wont have the acceleration of the others but it does handle very well. Anyway I was wondering what you guys honestly think about these 3 cars..Which way should I go...Thanks

how about buy a mini and let me buy that evo with that price?? I am freaking paying 3k over msrp, and I am picking it now!!! waitting for my gf to drive me to the dealer... 127 mile away.. and yes, I am paying 36400 out the door, black with wing but no sunroof.. I was going to buy the evo 7, but did enough research here to not to.... thanks everyone for the info about import laws!!! will post pics
The STi might turn out to be an awesome car, if you have the patience. I owned a WRX and it was a lot of fun to drive. With the larger engine, 300 hp/lb-ft of torque, 6 speed box, STi suspension and other tweaks it might become the sickest thing on the road.
If the U.S. Evo is similar to the JDM evo 7 then you'll not be dissapointed. I'm currently driving a E46 M3 in the US but the Evo 7 I have in HK feels so much quicker (my evo is a little modded though). Handling is just insane, although the US version doesn't have AYC or ACD so I don't know how it will turn out...
If the Evo and STi are your choices I wouldn't even consider the Cooper S...way overpriced, far less car and...well...it's a girl car

I think
will continue to support the EVO for a little while. Big deal if they discontiue it. You will have plenty access to parts, plus, that might be better if they dont blow the hell out of production in the U.S. Dont really care for everyone driving one of them. Kind of nice to have a slightly limited car.
