alright just got a couple of questions before I buy my cams.

1) are cam gears necessary when I get cams? will they make a difference if i buy some?

2)How much shhould I expect to pay for cams to get installed?

3) If I get 264's do I need to get retuned? if i get retuned will I make more power?

4) with my mods in my sig + the cams do you think Ill be good for an 11.9 if I hit a 1.7 60 foot? If not what would you think im capable of with a good launch(1.7-1.9)? What can I expect to trap?

1) cam gears are not necessary with cams, some people even install 272's without them. they will probably not make much difference with your setup now, but if you were to add more mods, yes they may help. I bought them with my 264's.

2) cams run about $350-400 for installation

3) I would definitly get retuned with cams. you will DEFINITLY make more power with a retuning that just adding the cams alone.

4) not sure about 11.9. in my opinion it would be real, real tough, but it is possible.

2)Anywhere from 150-300 depending on shop or person you go to
3)Cams without tuning wont do a great deal... the tuning will really do the trick!
4)Only going to the track and running will tell! A cool day will help but yes its def. possible. On pump gas Id say the avg trap for your mods would be 112-114.
