I think the US 9 seats are the same shell as the US 8's just with different color and material updates

The seats that the US market get are basically the Evolution VII (yes 7) GTA seats
the UK JDM recaros I have noticed that the shoulder supports are more supportive (tighter)

check out the shoulder support and head rest angles between the two, and before anyone flames me I know the seats are photographed at slightly different angles but you'll see what I am talking about.

I like the 03-05 leather version better...those are a bit to bling bling for me!

im sure anyone with 0305 seat can reskin to look like the 06 version for much less..

not much of a difference they just mixed it alittle leather and cloths...i perfer all leather no mixed breeds...

no totaly the mix is good. you like the leather look but face it having leather on butt and back suck and we all know that. why. one does not hold you as well. two in heat just sucks make butt and back all ahh up. but yes all leather does have up like if spill somthing on it eayer to clean. but face it if have this car not going to spill **** in it. so i vote and my determan is to get the evo 9 jdm seats leather and clothe seats. and when i get i will post and share how much and where i can get more for peeps who want. and if anyone has insides to how and were to get plz plz help me. i would so be happyest boy in the world.

I almost imported a set of EVO 8 seats from the UK (same as JDM) but ended buying a set from Gruppe-S. The JDM/European market seats have a higher bolsters on the base, and the back wraps around you a little more.

The original Evo release notes stated the USDM seats were different to allow for the differing body frames of North Americans.
