I don't think it does, since they have been using underpanels like this since the Evo 4 came out. It seems they have been successful with this at the tracks. However, it was remodeled for the new Evos, but still the same concept.

 

you gotta remember tho their sampled product is installed on a race car not a daily street driven car so there's a big difference on how the set up is.what might work for them might not be the same with somebody else

 

That's true; but like many companies in Japan, they work with cars that can be both used for racing and on the street. That's what's great about it.

 

you would prolly no longer need that splitter... assuming you have an aftermarket bumper...

this things covers up the oil pan huh? i think that's bad... for heat and for ease of oil changing.


if you're interested tanabe makes those already.... and already has them in the states 500whp carries 'em. they may not be as heavily gussetted tho :\

keep in mind however... these pieces are made of STEEL! not aluminum... (these sus support whatevers)

vishnu makes one already, just put the fins on backwards and it will be right.
