Is the greddy type S vta or recirc? my buddy had it on his STI and he's gonna give it to me. I want to know if I can I use it on my evo. I just want the BOV sound, coz my evo is still stock.

you can use it for either but in order to run it recir you must have the kit

you can try vta if you don't get any of the stumbling problems. My personal vote is for recirc.

just recirc it, our cars were made to be recircd, stock anyways. and if u want that "bov" sound just get a open element intake with the stock BPV and ull hear it too. doing a mod for a sound is lame, u should be adding a bov for holding more boost.
