How long do you guys think 05's will still be available? I really want one and want to trade my 03. I just cant do it now but soon

I noticed some of the dealers in PA don't have any left already. I have been shopping for one and they seem to be harder and harder to find.

 

They are going fast, I'm seeing more and more Evos on the road.

Did you think they would pull them off the shelves?

 

My guess is there are about 25 left in Florida.

 

Why would you want to trade a perfectly good 2003 for a 2005 that is not that much different? Keep your 2003 and with the extra money you are going to spend on the 05 get a front Helical LSD installed in the 2003. The LSD is one of the most important mods that the 05 EVO has and the 03-04 do not have.

PS: How do you like your Helix exhaust? Do you have any pics? Does it extend beyond the bumper to prevent soot/bumper burn?

 

Im having issues with the damn paint!! I wish i never bought a rally red evo. I want a new car so i can stop having to wax or buff the paint to make it look decent. I was going to have a lsd put in at TRE but i rather get an 05, also for the fact that i will be getting a brand new car. I love my helix exhaust, its sooooo nice, it has a nice jdm side angle to it, it never burns the bumper or anything, and i have had ppl tell me they have seen huge flames come out of the exhaust I just hope theres 05s still left soon so i can trade in when i have the cash available

 

haha at least you dont have black..i wash it one day and then the next day it's dirty..esp here in cali. we have morning dew..so whenever i wake up my car has dew all over it. and bam insta dirt.

 

When I bought mine, they only had 2... grey and blue... I wanted blue so that was perfect, from what I was told they were the only dealer in my area with any EVO's left at all, but car dealers are the biggest BSer's ever.. You never really know what to believe. They told they wouldnt be getting the IX until the spring... I guess they might have tried to just hustle me so I bought from them and I didn't want to wait until spring to buy it.

 

I hope they are still around in late sep maybe early october... Its when ill be able to get one
