Anyone else having problems with suspension creaks and noises? I've already replaced the right-rear assist link, and both front struts, due to such noises (covered under warranty). And now I'm hearing more creaking when I accelerate or decelerate suddenly in 1st gear (which of course changes the suspension load).

I'm starting to think Mitsu uses cheap suspension parts. With the front struts, the problem was the bearing at the top (which allows the struts to rotate with the wheel assembly. They went bad and started making noise. There was nothing wrong with the springs or damping, but they said they have to replace the entire strut.

Just wondering...

 

Get used to all the little noises. The EVO make a lot of 'em.

 

I had lots of noises too, i thought it was suspension but turned out to be loose motor mounts. I tightened them up real tight after i changed my clutch and no more noises.
