anyone's starter go bad yet?

My car has 16000 miles and won't start or even crank so i'm assuming it's the starter. We tried to jump the battery even though nothing was dim and the cd player was still going. I'm just worried warranty won't cover this since I have a turbo timer. So anyone have trouble with their starter in the past?

You probably installed your turbo timer incorrectly. Try removing your turbo timer and see if the car starts up. If this happened a while after the TT install, try checking all the wiring you have changed cd player, TT, etc.

I can't even see how a TT would affect the starter... sounds simply like a bad egg starter is all.

Last April, approx. three days after I picked it up from the dealer, the starter motor went dead. It was replaced under warranty and nothing's happened since.

Shouldn't be a problem with the TT installed..
