After visiting the dealer last night to go over how much I could get on my trade, my sales rep told me it was on the truck and on its way. He just called me 10 minutes ago and told me they just took it off the truck. He said they are doing the arrival inspection.

I'll let you guys know what the Apex Silver looks like in person when I get back if anyone's interested....

wow youre trading in a type SH for an EVO VIII?!?! i hate you! reading all these threads about guys getting theres is making me soo jealous!!!! i want to see one in person!!! even though i think the EVOs looks are kinda fading its still and EVO!! are you really gonna have to wait another month to get it?!! that sucks! meanwhile everybody and their momma will be touching it and groaping it on the showroom floor well...congrats!!!

 

They better be giving you a great deal for them to keep it for a month. I would say no way it's your car assuming you have a deposit down and everything. I wouldn't want a bunch of freaks sitting in my car all day and scuffing the hell out of it. Take it now or you'll be sorry.

What THEY WANT is not important...tell them to kiss your a$$ and frecking give you your car!!

 

If you rightfully own the car, you can do what you want with it. You don't have to let it sit in the showroom at all if you don't want it to.

If they want to keep it, you should get a discount, or goodwill of some sort for allowing them to "rent" your car.

Yes, it looks really, really nice. I went into the garage when the techs were doing the PDI on it. I got to see the whole underneath of it. I don't know what to say.... I can't wait to drive it! Silver looks a lot less mundane than I thought it would...

 

I just sold my Prelude type SH today--I hope to pick up my new Evo next week.

 

This is only my opinion, but I saw a Silver in person today and it really was not as nice as I was expecting. It was dirty though, so that might have been part of it, but I thought it made the car look dull, especially in the back. The blue on the other hand was much better looking than I expected. Both were in a garage though, so it wasn't in sunlight or anything.
Color aside, there is no arguing that this is one bad a$$ car.

 

Hehe although I haven't seen a silver in person yet the pics I've seen looked sweet. I have seen the blue in person many times and think it's a pretty ugly color myself. Black from what I've seen in pics as well looks really cool albeit ricey. And although I'm not a big fan of white I think the Evo makes it look good. Just my .02

Fireball just posted some pics of him and his silver above. Looks really nice. I've seen a few other silvers floating around that looked incredible. Of course lighting and seeing it in person always makes a difference.

 

Mine is in!!!. YAY... hahah.. i will be picking it up tommorow morning, due to problems in getting it today.. Will post pics later hopefully if i can take time to get out of my car.

 

What I was saying is that I thought Silver did not look as good in person as in the pictures, but there was no sunlight.
I thought the Blue looked a lot better in person than in the pictures. In fact the pictures almost look nothing like the actual color.
No matter what color you get though you can't go wrong.
