The HP@50 MPH is way to high the way they set it at 15.0.
Every Mustang dyno for the Evo I have seen is set at 12.0 to 12.5.
I think the dyno pull you just made is no good. Do your research and if the number is in fact to high, have the shop do another pull for no charge. If the number is right, then you are making good power. I would make sure, I know I would!

I thought that the HP@50MPH was calculated by a test. or is it just off a spec sheet? Also are you sure the 12 HP@50MPH is not an Evo 03-04 number as I have an 05 (even though you should know that by now). Anyways, can some clear this up. Also its not like my dyno is 30-50 more then it should be, its just really strong numbers.

Nice numbers...

I think I made 230 whp and 236 trq with a HKS racing suction intake and a HKS cat back the first time I dynoed my car on a Mustang dyno. The 05's def. have a bit of a advantage with the 10.5 hotside.

It is not calculated by a test. A test is run to read/calibrate the correct rpms in certain Mustang Dyno Models. Other models have an rpm input that reads the rpms when the signal is tapped at the ignition wire in the motor. I know they get the HP@50 from a book that is put out by the dyno manufacturers/programmers. That number has something to do with aerodynamics according to an operator of a local Mustang Dyno. You need to do research and find out for sure. I am not an expert, but have a little knowledge. If it does not worry you, then don't even worry. I just wanted to mention that to you. Like everyone says, nice numbers.
My car put 327 whp/379 Tq. on Mustang mode on one dyno. On another awd dyno, on Dyno Jet mode it put 385 whp and 378 Tq.

I found out that if the HP@50MPH is lower then it results in a higher inaccurate number. I figured it out cuz my buddy dynoed his '99 A4 S/C 4WD that same day right before me, and he dynoed way higher then most people do with the same setup on a Mustang dyno. We (us & the shop) figured out that they (the shop) entered the wrong HP@50MPH (they entered 9.x (2WD), when they were supposed to enter 12.x (4WD)) . They are gonna give him free runs but when we go back down I'll probably have Stg. 1 , so I'll probably use the same numbers (curb weight & HP@50MPH). Also the spec sheet was pretty new cuz it had the 05 info and their dyno is relatively new (I think).

ps Everyone (including ME) know that a Dynojet give a bigger number compared to a Mustang.
