air con took a dump, dealer stumped.

my ac stopped working a couple of weeks ago. blower blows, but no cold air, compressor does not switch on, and idle speed doesnt increase to compensate, i checked all fuses, they were fine, took it to the dealer who tested all the large hardware, compressor, lines, pressure check, everything fine. they think its electrical, they worked on it all day, and still cant figure out what the issue is, anyone have any similar experience ??? they gave me a mazda 3 rental today. said they would try to have an answer for me tomorrow.

My dash is tore apart, and they had two laptops hooked up to the car, they checked the "master switch" inside the dash whatever thats for, no luck....

one of the techs said that "3 computers control the AC" which i think is BS, since its not like its a climate control HVAC system... i hope they dont fudgepack anything else in the car while they are fixing the AC... im very nervous with my car and dealers.....

Compressor line in the A/C sounds broke. Had exact same experience. Peeps who put in my ARC radiator broke the line. Replacd the line and worked like a charm

did you change your lower intercooler piping? Some larger pipes rub a hole in the line.

I would hope the first thing the dealer checked was there R134a in the
system. So I do not think any line was broken.

well its fixed, they described something similar, but it was a faulty connection in an electrical harness deep in the dash, they had to go through alot of wiring diagrams, diagnostics.... had to take the dash out to get to it.
