i was wondering if there was a DIY post to install McCulloch or any other hid kit ? i basicly know how to do it , but wanted to make sure i am doing it correctly , or have a reference if i run into any problems. thanks.

 

I don't think there is a diy for hid installs on evo because almost all of them came with them stock. I recently put a set of McCullochs on my car and it was pretty simple. They should come with a general set of directions that you can follow. You need to take off the bumper and take out the headlights. There are explanations of both those on here. After that it’s basically out with the old bulbs and in with the new. Find a good place to mount the ballasts and plug them into the stock headlight wiring and to the new hid bulbs. All and all it’s easy and you shouldn't have any problems.

 

thanks. thats what i figured. anyone know where the oem hid ballast are mounted or better yet have a picture of it?
