Anyone uses EBC(e BoostController)??

I haven't found anyone uses Electronic Boost controller? are they good?

I currently have a Hallaman Pro installed, but having a hard time figuring out how much boost it's puting into my engine. I am thinking of switching over to one of those electronic ones, easier to manage...

any thoughts?

EBCs are by no means easier to manage. In fact, they are much more difficult to tune in properly. What do you mean you're having a hard time figuring out how much boost the Hallman is giving you? What does your boost gauge say? Hallman's are the #1 MBC used by Evo's, and there's nothing easier...

I got the turbosmart e-boost, and then got the hallman mbc. The e-boost is now just an expensive boost gauge

hehehehe..that's funny..

Well, I do have a boost gauge. It's down below the A/C control, where Evo-ers put their glasses and crap. I have a bunch of gagues there. when you accelerate hard, it ain't easy to take your eyes off and stare at the boost gauge, plus you have to stare at it constantly to see the peak boost.

doesn't help

Then what does that have to do with the Hallman? Are you saying you want to purchase a $300 EBC just so you can use it as a more visible boost gauge?

MRs come with these gauges sitting where they are. I might get some gauges later on, but for now, especially under this hi-gas price season, I need to figure out where I stand on the boost level...

EBC's are very easy to manage as long as you have a 4th grade reading level! me and 3 other people i know run ebc's, MBC's are worth the money but not the time!

Then look at the gauge or have someone ride with you and look at the gauge. Why in hell would you go through all the trouble to turbocharge your car and buy gauges, but then put them where they can't be seen? This thread is ridiculous...

Btw, I moved my gauges to the top on my MR:

Uh, I have an MR. That is a picture of the gauges in my MR. What did I not read correctly, Master Yoda? Your name is AaronOZ, and you told us that you have gauges in the same place as an MR. You didn't say you had an MR. You just said you have a "bunch of gauges down where Evo'ers put their sunglasses and crap."

If you're now saying that you have an MR, then once again, use my pic as a reference and move your gauges.

Well, that's definitely not true, so back to the gauges. He doesn't need to spend another $300 just so he can see his boost gauge...
