Yup. Me and a friend went to Capitol Mitsu today. They had 3 Evo's in the show room and all had $20k markups.

Yup, me too. I went to capital to see the STi's competition and saw one yellow, one black, two red, and two silver. THEY ALL HAD JUST UNDER 20K MARKUP. THERE IS NO WAY THAT I AM GOING TO PAY 50K FOR THAT CAR.

Sorry.

Thats M3, CLK AMG, Audi S4, highly modded Supra territory.

Are they smoking some good crack?

I'd take the M3 anyday.

Went there today. I about isted my pants when I saw the markup. What horse isht. Then I asked the salesman if the rims were forged...then he tried to tell me that they are the lightest rims in the world. More horse isht! Racing Hard CP035's are. And my S202 Rays STi wheels are about the same, if not lighter than those.

I don't thing those Enkies are that light. I don't think they are forged either. Car was sick though. My WRX is so doped out, if it wasn't, I would trade it in. I am pushing around about 400+ on the crank right now, and it cost alot of $$$ to get it up there...not to mention all of my JDM parts. Car is almost all JDM...Brembos, 6SPD, rare rays wheels...all that garb...I will stick with the Sube, but damn, that Mitsu is purty!

I would think twice before making that statement. I am pushing 400+ crank HP on CA 91 octane fuel.

Plus, I have a front LSD...hah...too bad mitsu shorted you on that one!

BADWRX, that's a nice ride you got there. Did you just bolt the 6-spd tranny up there? Did that involve any custom fitting? I haven't seen a whole lot being done....I guess not too many people will go that far to ****** that 6-spd tranny from overseas...

BTW, this is the third time I see that pics (the 20K markup one)...

No, not a total bolt on. I needed the GDB (JDM STi) Prop shaft, and I had to aquire a 3.90 rear ring and pinion.

Plus it cost $4,000! for the parts alone.

I brode 2 5 speeds before making the switch.

Thanks for the compliment.

Nice car. And to those EVO owners, there are a lot of heavily modded WRX's out there that will hand you your as so be careful not to shoot your mouth off. Yes the EVO is faster stock, especially in handling. Please remember there are a lot of non stock cars out there before you start knocking them. My mildly modded WRX ran a 13.2 in the 1/4 on a warm summer day. I don't believe that is gonna happen with a stock EVO. I would be happier then a pig in **** if it did though!

Don't get me wrong, I love the EVO and am waiting patiently (ok, maybe not) for mine, but there will always be something faster then you. All it takes is $$.
