Mustang Dyno vs. Dynojet

I just put down 306whp and 284lbs/tq on a Mustang dyno; however, I have some boost leaks going on since my stock mesh couplers on upper IC ipipe are worn out and flexing. I also need new spk plugs because there was some hesitation.

My question what would this #'s translate to on a Dynojet?

Just curious that's all. I know Mustang dyno reads lower and I'm used to Dynopack or Dynojet so i wanted a ballpark...

I could always visit Dynopack next time it's closer anyway.

How is that silly? The only thing silly is NOT asking if I need to have a better understanding. Mustang reads a little diff and I just wanted a comparison. Now try not to go pick someone else apart ok. Unless it just feels good for u... in the case, I'll pray for u.

Why dyno at all if you are going to guess at what your car will read on a completely different kind of dyno? If you want to know what it will read on a Dynojet, go dyno it on one. Every dyno is different and even giving a "ballpark" is silly because of how far off different dynos can be. Read Dave Buschur's post about his new MD and how skewed he could make the results.

Now do you want a guess about what you would dyno on Buschur's MD, or the MD down the street, or the MD across town? Because they will all be different, same goes for a Dynojet.

The ? I asked wasn't meant to be so technical, and u obviously didn't read it. I SAID I just recently dyno'd on a Mustang, and my #'s seemed low so I was wondering if a Mustang TYPICALLY reads lower than a Dynojet. That's all...

I know the game, been around for a while... SUGGESTION: please READ these things before u decide to flame people -

Dynometer's are relative. What really matters are 1/4 mile times/speeds. There is no way to correct for 1/4 mile, the proof is in the pudding.

Why would I do that? Will He give me a better answer to your question? I thought you wanted a ballpark figure, so I gave you one. If you want the exact number, we can ask the Big Man, or you can go to a Dynojet...

My guess is that you would not run a 12.6 at 107-108, which is what I do with my 282whp...
