What are the odds that the installer did something incorrectly?...232 miles with a loose bolt here and there on the flywheel...I can see this happening.

Hopefully the installer doesn't work on cars the way that you spell.

well.............sorry for your troubles, but go with a better brand like Exedy or RPS maybe. I have had my exedy twin-ceramic-metallic clutch for almost 20k miles now with zero problems. I have driven it hard on the street and even harder on the drag strip. I have probably launched the car close to 50 times now with zero problems yet. My clutch was $1300, but well worth it. They retail for around $1600, but you can find a good deal here on evom. Anyhow RPS is supposed to be good too, but I haven't expierenced their stuff at all. Good luck tho.

I've been waiting for something like this with a Spec Evo clutch. I'm from the f-body world before the Evo and exploding Spec clutches is something that has happened repeatedly in that application. My friend bought one anyway (I helped him install it) and within a few thousand miles it grenaded, taking the bellhousing and pieces of the tranny with it. He was very lucky not to be hurt. There were holes in the floorpan and the top of the accelerator pedal was sheered off (but not his toes luckily).

Unsprung clutch + Evo AWD is asking for driveline failure.
