MAP sensor & boost gauge install...
Is there any issue with tapping the same boost pressure line for both an electronic MAP sensor unit and a mechanical boost gauge?
I've already tapped into the boost pressure line emanating from the left end of the intake manifold for a mech boost gauge--not the line going to the BOV (left end when facing the windshield under the hood). It has a t-fitting in it for the boost gauge and I was thinking of connecting another t (actually a Y-fitting from my TXS MAP sensor kit) right after that to split the tap into two for the boost gauge and the new TXS map sensor.
Any problem with connecting two boost readers to the same tap point? Could it mess up the reading?
