Anyone know if I leave my lights and fogs on when I turn off the car, will it kill my battery?

I wouldn't think so since the lights turn off with the car, but I thought I'd ask.

It doesn't turn off right away, it takes 30 seconds or more before they auto shut off I believe. During that time you are using the battery, personally my dad had always told me to turn off my headlights first before shutting off the engine.
