How many miles on your Evo at delivery?

A question to all of the new Evo owners out there (like me!), how many miles did your Evo have when you took delivery?

Mine had 36 miles on it.

I'm just wondering what the norm is......

p.s. I love this car.

Must've been out for a test drive. No more than 10 miles is what I normally look for when buying a new car.

btw.. where in the Bay Area are you in or are you in the city?

Dude...that is why I told my dealer not to touch or drive the car when it arrives. He was like, "Well, we have to PDI test drive the car." I said, "Not until I get there."

3 miles on mine.

36 miles is not PDI miles. is alloted 7-12 miles for a PDI process.... that's it. Your car was taken for many rides before you got it.

I work foe a dealer most cars come off the truck with about 8 miles on them. Every once and a while we will get a car that was randomly pull at the port and went through a quality control inspection these cars can have over 100 miles on them when they arive at the dealer. Our first shipment of Evos one had 7 miles the other had 87.

Only 2 miles! Only the Porter who put armour all on the tires had a chance to rag it out! HAHHAA. One of the sales guys thought I was a fellow employee across the street and told me they were doing burnouts in 'em when they got off the truck. I was in the service bay walking around when they got off the truck. I had dress clothes on so they thought I was a salesman!!! HAHAHA

The only way to guarantee virginity is to video tape the car coming off the transport!!!!!

Damn, i thought it seemed like a bit more than i ought to have. Well, it was the only car in the bay area that had absolutely NO markup, and i was so happy to get the car at MSRP, i didn't really think about the mileage.

But, now i am, as it seems my brakes dont seem that great. I mean, i've been following the break-in (300 mi.) for the brakes, but the car just seems to have a terrible "pad-fade" feeling to the brakes. The car has only 200 miles on it so far, and maybe it will get better after 300 miles.

I just hope some one didn't abuse the brakes in those first "36" miles. we'll see.

How does everyone else's brakes feel?? I'm curious to hear some feedback.

You need to let the pads bed in before worrying about it. If they still feel bad at 1000 miles then you have reason to be concerned. FWIW my brakes feel okay but not quite 'Brembo sharp' yet. And they squeal a little now and then. It's all normal stuff.
