Getting your insurance from "Bob's insurance shack" is like buying an extended warranty from a place that has "Going out of business forever" signs up in the window.

If you want to be taken care of when you need it, stay away from the guys like progressive and geico or the less quality "cheap" insurers. Go with Allstate or another quality company - state farm, farmers, travelers, etc. When you're in an accident, you're more likely to get your car's damage paid for than with the cheaper guys. If you can't afford these guys, don't get into an accident.

I have farmers insurance and all I pay is 85 a month w/500 deductible.
