Interesting..I can get their $1,500 radar for $425.00 (from Bel)

The important thing is that a radar detector will never go around corners, or perfectly block laser. If you read the users manuel, it will tell you that it is "line of sight". The only real difference in the higher dollar radar dectors is its accuracy, and range of effectivness.

So I say, save the $50-1500 and just drive responsivley...

yea, I have the 8500 and it will wake you up on long drives...

 

Consider it an investment, I love my V1, you can't live without the arrows once you have experienced them.
