on that note, if you've never ridden, take a motorcycle safety course before you even buy a bike. most people think they can hop on a bike and learn themselves. the techniques you learn in a safety course will save you from going down, and even help you to avoid other drivers' mistakes.

Mod the Evo. I've had too many friends get hurt or die from motorcycle accidents.

get a 2003+ r6 so its fuel FI and not carb. R6 is just as fast as R1 but r6 is faster in the turns.

I appreciate all the input, maybe I wasn't explaining my pricing out right. I've seen quite a few 03's for around 5-6k here so i was gonna put 2-3k down for that, if I mod i would only be spending about 2k on the car because i'd probably take a little mini vacation with the remainder of the money i would have spent on the bike. Its still a really tough decision, i rode dirtbikes growing up and it was a blast kinda got the urge to ride again, i completely understand the whole danger part too though, and that kinda turns me off but i guess thats just the chance you take :/

The car will never give you the adrenaline rush that a bike would. That rush does come with additional risk.
