Talking Just bought new Evo!!!

well after having my STi totaled i decided to buy a Evo. today i went and purchased a brand new silver 2005 evo with the SSL package. I got the car for 500 over invoive. so far i love the car, it outhandles my STi hands down.

congrats man! i just got mine a couple days ago. i've never driven an STI. how would you compare it to your new evo besides the handling that you already mentioned?

the only thing the STi has over the evo is more low end torque due to the extra .5L of displacement. it is really hard to compare because my STi was heavily modified for a while. it made 362 WHP and 342 WTQ 91 oct on a mustang dyno. i cant wait to start modding the evo once my break in is finished. so far i am going to get a full turbo back exhaust, hallman boost controller, some 272/272 cams and a dyno tune. well time to go drive some more and get that break in done.

congrats dude, i got mine like 4 months ago (silver w/ ssl) i keep telling my buddy about how many people switch over from sti to evo and he doesnt believe me, he might be close becuase he is tired of working on his sti, its been about a week and he still hasnt gotten done dissambling his engine, he got some sort of stage 2 block and should be pretty nice with his little FP Red
