Your all wrong. Its a temp sensor for the cabin. Anytime you see that in a car, thats what its for.

then I was right, I conjectured in my previous post that it's a temp sensor.

Shivaswrath=1
EvoM=0

you do realize we don't NEED a temp sensor since the temp is MANUALLY controlled and that it's probably a relic part from a JDM Evo, right??

really... my tahoe has one.. but we got onstar... and the lady complains when i put my mouth next to it when i speak... ummm i believe its a microphone.. and besides my dads montero has the temperature sensor under the steering wheel and its a piece of metal.

but you know.. its an evo.. you guys are probably right.

I believe that is where the temp sensor is on JDM models with climate control..

mine is just empty behind there. i noticed that when i picked up my evo and the dealer had no idea what it was for, but then again they didnt know how to put the headrests down either. and now they are out of business go figure. so if it si really for the climate control that we dont get why dont we come up with something to put there instead?

dude, this is so funny, I wonder if it's just a random JDM thing they happened to put in some SSL's in not others. . . or the Japs's are ****ing with us again, DAMMIT!!!
