My license is being suspended for 90 days for having "4 or more moving violations in a 12 month period." I didn't even know that law existed!! grr... anyhoo, I've spoken with a lawyer and he's gonna get me anoccupational license for that period, so it's not too bad. Worse things could happen. I was pretty upset when I got the letter though. Apparently law enforcement is growing increasingly fond of license suspensions...

how old are you? when my bro was like 18 he was supposed to get a 90 day suspension but ended up just getting a year's probation (got to keep his license, just couldn't get pulled over for a year) - deferred adjudication, or however you spell it...ahaha at the time he had on his record: 2 speeding tickets, 2 rear endings, and this "final straw" was for street racing (before they REALLY cracked down).

Ultimately, 3 words: Hire A Lawyer

you can at least do a free consult and see what your options are.

Good luck.

Not to hate or anything, but you know you were wrong yet you are fighting it anyways. I don't think thats a smart move IMO.

I HOPE this is a joke.

If it's not, I hope you're smart enough not to take his advice.

This is bad advice too. Normally the state you are suspended in suspends your driving privledge in that state. Lets take his example. He is supended in Oregon, so he gets an Arizona license. He can drive anywhere in the US except Oregon, where his driving privledge is suspended.

So if you are going to get a license from a different state, move there. I don't know why you did not get cited, but I see people with out of state licenses in California that have suspended California licenses all the time. It does not prevent their car from getting towed and them getting a ticket for suspended license.

Ride out your supension and be a smarter driver.

Good luck.

Well, here is a clue:

SLOW DOWN! It's not rocket science... it's pretty simple. You speed, you pay the price. Man up to your mistakes.

Man this is by far the single most STUPID piece of advice I have ever seen on EVOM. WTF! Yeah go ahead and get pulled over for driving under suspension in CT and see what happens.

#1 you lose your lisc for 3 years
#2 you do 30 days in jail
#3 your insurance will be about 300% higher then the average for your state

suuuure why not give it a shot!

^yeah, why not?

just start riding a bike or running really fast. you guys need to find a place that isn't the road (i.e. a track) to take out this pent up rage.

i dunno if i'd really recommend building your car up while you can't drive. you'll probably just drive even faster than before and have your license taken away again.

don't get me wrong, i've done stupid **** (3am 50mph drifting in a residental =/), but that's a lot of stupid **** you've done, my friend =). if you're gonna keep it up, though, i'd call ripley's; i'm sure they'll want to be the first to meet the guy who broke the record for ****tiest driving record =P

Ride out the suspension.
Take it to the track.
Be polite and respectful when in court, it might help and definitely wont hurt.
