I installed the ones in the car and they didnt fit like everyone is saying so I just tightened them enough so the shift boot wont move does anyone see this as a problem in the long run or in the present time comming? BTW what is the point of the ones inside is it supposed to do anything with the shifting or just supposed to hold the booth in place. I still have not installed the ones in the engine. I will do those monday.

I had this exact same problem too. I thought I was putting them in upside down or something. Theyre still sitting in the bag in the garage

It crossed my mind to just tighten and leave it, because it felt very sturdy when I did, but I'd like to see how many people have had this issue, and what they did.
Same problem, didn't fit, but to fix it I instead bought Energy Suspension Poly Bushings and they fit perfect, same item just not green. But on a positive side, the engine bay shift bushings fit perfect. Late.
