DC Sport exhaust mani....adds power?

In all the reading I've been doing on here I've come to the believe that almost everyone agrees you can't really get more power by switching out the stock exhaust manifold to a tubular design.

However in this months Turbo mag. they added a DC Sport manifold and picked up almost 11 horspower and 4ft lbs of torque while running less boost. Is this just another case of a car magazine getting some magical #'s or has anobody else tested this piece yet? I would like to find out cause the piece looks awsome!!

Almost seems like magical numbers to me, mostly because DC's products normal fall on the short end and have some of the worst numbers for their price.

Tough call. Back in my Honda days I could never duplicate their numbers with before and after dyno runs.

Same here. Injen's slogan "Horsepower not hype" is a jab at AEM/DC Sports. I remember a few years ago, the V2 CAI for the Hondas was supposed to be a miracle product when it came out. It sucked (haha a pun!) and made some crappy horsepower numbers compared to Injen CAI and even K&N. My experience with AEM/DC Sports on Hondas has definitely made me very wary of ever buying a AEM/DC Sports product.

So has nobody here used one on an Evo yet. What about some of the shops on here, have you heard anything about it?
