Awd Man The Z Is Cool But Gas Milege Is Little Bit Better Considering That The Evo Is Faster And Better Taking It Around The Corners Plus The Evo Is King At Any Wheter Condition, But You Shoul Get What You Like, when I Got My Evo I Love It And Now I Just Wanna Make Love To It, Lol The Point Is I Am Happy With My Desicion Good Luck.

looks from your user name that you've already made your decision... It would only be a mistake to buy a 350 if you got to occasionally drive someone elses Evo and you had to be reminded how much better a car it is Seriously, I'm sure most 350 drivers love their car, it's just about what you want out of the car.

i was about to go get a white 350z convertible, after sitting in it. i knew it wasnt for me. interior was sorta tight. considering im 6'2 230 lb male. i sat in the evo alota leg room plus more power i was very happy. try them both out before actually buying one.

It's ok if you want a 350Z it's not that bad of a car, it has it's advantages and disadvantages when compared to an EVO. But you have to ask yourself, what are you looking for out of your next car, if performance and aftermarket potential aren't way up there on what you want out of a car, then the EVO is not for you. Maybe the 350Z isn't for you either and a G35 Coupe may be a better choice.

something to else to consider...

according to top gear lap times 350z=rx8=m3. so in terms of all around speed, that's your competition. the evo isn't nearly as refined, but it is faster and lots of fun to drive.

I too looked and test drove the 350, but I didn't like the lack of room and the plastic on the interior felt cheap to me; I really like the looks though. I would go with the G35 if you are wanting some refinement in your vehicle because the EVO is definitely not for everyone. The EVO is truly a driving enthusiast's car and I cannot imagine driving anything that would not give me the experience that my EVO does. The car is simply fantastic!

One thing that you want to consider is that the warranty on the EVO is worthless unless you find a good dealership, which I haven't found one anywhere close to me. On the flip side my car now has 38K miles and the only thing that has gone wrong with the car is a crack in the back of the driver's seat and they are going to warranty that after many calls to Mitsu Corp.

Good luck with your purchase..

Not to be the shallow one, but anyone ever consider the chick factor? My chick doesn't car at all about how fast a car is. She cares how comfortable and nice looking it is. In that respect, the G35.

I prefer the Evo for performance. The Z is more of the classical "nice car" though.

ha.. so true, to me i guess i used to think the 350z looked bad ***.. but after being in look at a 350z and think, wow that car is weak.. all show no go. At least get the g35 if your going to go that direction, but just stare at the massive brembos, nicer wheels + tires, nicer seats etc of the evo and you will know you made the rigth choice, secondly the evo interior is boring however it feels solid, the 350z interior is like cheap flimsy plastic to me.. its like it was a failed attempt to make it nice, at least they were even trying with the evo... but it certainly feels alot more solid( plus the steering wheel = one billion times better)

yea i think i will go with the evo. I was planning on putting about 2500 on the 350 for some appearence stuff, but with 2500 on the evo i think i could have a hell of a time. THe reason i am getting rid of my celi is because i think its boring. So i think an evo with buschur racing power package and some springs will be the right way to go!!

350z is less practical than the Evo. 2 seats, and a real bear to drive in inclement weather. Gas mileage isn't much better, and storage space is at a premium. I was also in your boat trying to decide between the Z and the Evo. After talking to owners of both and lots of research, I have come to think Evo is the better choice for me.

Chicks will dig the Z more, but I think you will like the Evo more

That sounds like a great idea!
