well usually, if my turbo timer says more than 1 minute, I push the buttons when I get out to change it to only 1 minute. On a daily basis that's even rare, because I live at the back of a 15mph neighborhood and I work in the middle of a 25mph town, so I'm generally cruising at <2500rpms the last 5-10+ mins of each commute.
