Damn, how many guys on this forum are gonna lose their licenses? Pretty soon, nobody will be driving Evo's cuz all the drivers will be suspended. I know the car is fast but that doesn't mean you have to drive at redline in 5th all the time. My guess is young punks who think they are the ****. You never see Evodave or Astroevo getting tickets or losing their licenses and they have some of the fastest Evos on here. Get a life guys and slow down. People that come on here bragging just furthers the stereotype that young kids shouldn't have nice, fast cars. Slow down, be safe, and don't be freakin stupid. Brag about quarter mile and track times, not speeding tickets.

Who the hell said I drive redline in 5th gear all the time? Im not some young punk who thinks he is the ****, every person here opens their car up once in a while, I can almost guarantee you have no place to say "some young kid who thinks he's the sh*t" when you do the exact same crap. You're telling me cruising 3 mph over the f*cking speed limit is a huge crime and I should be given a 2 point ticket and increased premiums for it? Hold on, maybe I should "get a life" and slow down, because we all know that people who travel 3-5 mph over the damn speed limit have no lives.

wtf and have you gone to contest these tickets? judges should let you off as long as you are below 5 mph over the speed limit due to discrepencies in radar calibrations etc.

True dat Fluxed... I got 3 tickets this year alone. Two of 'em are BS due to the attention this car gets from the cops, only 1 was a legit speeding ticket. The first ticket back in January was tailgating - in which I was coming up on a group of cars where the light had just turned green, so I was about as close as you would be when you were stopped, but we were going about 30 mph getting up to speed and an unmarked cop was next to me and whipped over and pulled me over. The whole group of cars was bunched up like that and he singled me out, probably because of a red Evo.

The next ticket was in my neighborhood. I was coming up to a stop sign behind a 4runner. He went straight through and I needed to turn left. Instead of making a complete stop, I just kinda rolled through at about 1 mph and made my turn. Granted I did roll through, but there were no other cars around and the cop was hidden behind a bush. So that one I deserved but c'mon, I wasn't even in gear and there were no other cars around. I got "the law is the law speech". The 3rd ticket was legit speeding, 60 in a 45 cuz I wasn't payin attention and the 55mph zone was about 30 yards away (in fact, he actually pulled me over in the 55 zone).

In court they told me that 3 major offenses within 7 years and your license is gone. Now I'm not sure what they mean by "major" but that seemed pretty harsh to me. 7 years?? Gimme a break. I may be wrong on that so someone correct me as I'm just going of memory, but I know it was 3 major offenses in some amount of time, kinda like the 3 strike law in other states. It's harsh here.

Yup. To me it's bullsh*t. There are many other things in this country that need to be delt with besides giving stupid *** traffic violations to minor offenses. I can understand 20 mph and over, but this sh*t, I have no other choice but to throw up my middle finger to those b*tches. I am a full-time student and I work for the government every damn day, I don't deserve to get this f*cked over for stupid *** bullsh*t.

I lost my license for 7 months for speeding(no previous tickets, yes, I was going very fast) back in my more adolescent days. Went to jail for the night and it cost me $2200 in fines and fees before I had a valid drivers license again. Probably a good thing it happened too, because I keep my foot off the gas now, I just save it for the track. As for transportation, I was a sophmore in college at the time, so my bike recieved a TON of use and I always had a DD anytime I drank(yes, I was underage). Believe it or not, the time will pass by pretty fast and in a years time, it will be like it never happened. Just lower a shoulder and get through it and learn from the mistakes.

omg!! he has an sti first of all. we also only need to redline 3rd gear to get a ticket on any highway in america. evodave or astroevo do not have the fastest evos on here. why does speeding mean you have no life? no life would be like spending your afternoons on a car forum in which you do not own. i don't think he is bragging. gj though, keep it up.

widsor next to greeley? i went to unc for awhile. town smells among other things. there are a lot of cops in the "downtown area" of windsor. some bull dyke cop got me doing 47 in a 30, dropped from 40. but she gave a warning. i didn't get one ticket in over 2 years there. i get much more in chicago.

Windsor is a tough place to live in, and by the way, that cop killed herself because the WPD caught her for insurance fraud.
