when I installed the boost guage it was more like 19 with a tapper to 16. your boost will hit 19psi and then tapper to 16 and hold there.

when the boost maxes out at a certain rpm, then the boost falls slightly to a sustained boost pressure. my '03 maxed at 19.5, then tapered to 16ish, before my reflash. now it stays at 22psi.

I believe by the book the 2005's hit around 19.1 PSI and then drop off to around 16-16.5 at redline.

At what rpm does the boost hit 19 psi?

All 05's that I have owned (MR and GSR) boosted to just a hair over 19PSI and tapered down to around the 16'ish range.

The factory gauge pack is not completely accurate as say a DEFI D-Series gauge.

Stock boost comes in at 19psi then drops to 17psi. Before you go cranking up the boost make sure you're using high enough octane fuel or else you move slower, even with a higher boost reading. It's been said in the forum that 20-21 psi should be the highest you should boost on pump gas. Do a search of past treads on this subject.
