If i recall correctly, they are made by Carbontrix. This company has some affiliation with Road Race Engeneering - there is a link on RRE's homepage to carbontrix.

Carbontrix: http://www.carbontrix.com/

I believe the vents are mostly cosmetic. Might help the evo stay a little cooler for the driver on hot track days. If memory serves correctly, they cost around $300

Hey Guys my name is Shawn, i go as Mongo on spyderchat.com for the mr2 spyder.

i lurk here and wrxforums because i am a huge fan of both cars. i saw this post and
found it similar to a product i make for the spyder, a clear wind defelctor for the side
windows.

i can make these in a clear or tinted acrylic for way less than the carbon. def. under
$100 for a set. let me know if you want to do a group buy!

Thanks,
Shawn

Rob Tallini @ RRE made mine, and I've noticed a difference at the track -- less cabin turbulence and dust.

Pretty sweet until you forget and roll your rear window down and they go flying out.

Revworks does it for about $170+. Not sure though if it is for a pair. They are originally for an EVO 7 but they said that it will fit the EVO 8 or 9. Here's the link.http://rhrper.fatcow.com/cgi-bin/sho...html/product=5

Get the CF ones and paint them any color you want. Only way people will know they are CF is if you tell them.

Well I don't really see a point in paying more money for CF just to paint it! If i want it color matched ABS plastic then that is what I want.
