Engine check light

I bought a brand new 05 evo and i had no problems untill the check light appeared, and it only had about 700miles on it, so i made an appointment to be serviced but during the weekend it went away. Has anybody experinced this before on there evo?

I guess my only option is going back to the dealership and getting it inspected.

Check your gas cap. Remove it, then install it, then drive your car. It'll clear the CEL.

*Make sure you turn it at least 5 clicks after EVERY fill up!*
