hey bro i drive about 80 miles a day to work and school. At the beginning it took me a while to master taking off with this clutch. But now im used to it, it is actually not giving me any problem at all . I actually like the heavier pedal. So far I havent tried shifting past 7000 rpm because I haven't gotten a flash yet so I really don't know about that problem that some ppl are having. I drove 10,000 miles with this clutch already and its still good.

i had high rpm shift problems when i first installed my act. after i adjusted the clutch peddle it shifts very smooth at any rpm.

sweet 10,000 miles sounds good to me. but im gonna have to get a flywheel too, cause i have no choice but to drive the evo. even if the clutch slips under normal driving conditions.

I dont have many miles on my ACT clutch, but so far I love it... It's just a bit harder than stock, but for some reason I like it like that.... You wont go wrong with this clutch..

I Have a Stage 2 ACT HDSS, had it about 17-20k miles and it still runs strong. The shifting is abit hard but i have gotten use to it. I never have highRPM Gear lock out wiht this clutch. The ONLY Issue i have is "Clutch Chatter" When your first starting your car, going into reverse at low rpms, or just slightly feathering the gas pedal, the clutch seems to chatter abit, really weird sound but it goes away after about 10 mins of driving. The ACT Clutches are Stout Clutches and stay alive for awhile. Just make sure its adjusted right, or will you get the Infamous "HIGH RPM GEAR LOCK-OUT" Good Luck.

ACT HDSS here and I use to get locked out of gear left and right. But now I have the NLTS mod and this clutch is perfect. Shifts into gear with no problem. I've done about 10 street launches so far and the clutch is still holding up no problem.

mine works great never had any problems. everything that can go wrong is just the same as most other single disc clutch that can be fixed with an adjustment. with the proper install and adjustment it should never need to be touched again.
