That location is going to make changing oil EASY!!! I hate it when a manufacturer puts the filter perpendicular to the ground or even with the mount hole facing down. That really makes it easy to spill everywhere.

won't the filter also make oil-change-less-filter changes pretty difficult? i imagine you'd have to add quite a bit of lost oil.

not that everyone will be doing 'em like this, but we have discussed that possibility before (the filter being the one requiring the tighter interval, not necessarily the oil, well after break-in, etc).
