I just converted my 05 to HID. Denso Ballasts and 4300K 9006 rebased Phillips D2S bulbs. Only $290 for OEM Ballasts and OEM bulbs. These are the same Ballasts used in Lexus cars. Simple Plug and Play install, took 10 minutes to plug it in but 30 minutes to remove the front bumper though.

Works great - since we have projectors, the cutoff is sharp and looks very OEM unlike HID conversions on multi-reflector headlights which cause large amounts of glare.

My friend took some pictures with his camera phone, I'll see if I can get it from him. 10x brighter than the 9006 headlights and OEM white color, not blue or purple. DOT approved bulbs!

The biggest problem is mounting the ballasts... There is no room behind the front bumper to put these things! I ended up getting creative (ghetto) and used zip ties to mount them.
